浮桥位于太仓市东北隅，东枕长江，与崇明岛、吴淞口隔江相望，西与204国道、延江高速公路相连结，北与常熟市接壤，沪浮璜公路贯穿全境。长江支流七浦、杨林、浪港横贯全镇，水陆交通十分便 捷。江堤岸线长达9公里，是江苏省重点开发港口----太仓港的中心地区，又是国家环保总局确定的进口废物加工“圈区管理定点示范区”所在镇 。
